Charities
The Wilderness Foundation
We are raising money to support The Wilderness Foundation - preserving and promoting the value of the world’s last remaining wild areas.
The Wilderness Foundation UK was established in 1974 by Sir Laurens van der Post, writer, explorer and philosopher, and Dr. Ian Player DMS, international conservationist renowned for saving the white rhino and founder of the World Wilderness Congress movement.
Our will take us through many remote areas of the world, and we are committed to our own respect for the environment and showing others how it can be enjoyed and conserved at the same time.
You can make a donation online through our secure page at Justgiving.com.
Wheels4Life
We will be working as ambassadors for Wheels4Life - a non-profit organization that provides bikes for people in Third-World countries in need of transportation to get to work or to school, including health care workers and teachers. This charity was founded by extreme biking legend and former Mountain Bike World Champion Hans Rey.
We will be buying local bicycles and donating them where we find an opportunity to improve the lives of a developing community by giving them the gift of mobility.
WWF
WWF International are supporting our expedition. As we journey round the world, we are collecting our own observations of environmental issues, particularly those related to global warming, and finding out what people from all parts of the planet think about their environment and whether they feel directly affected by ongoing environmental crises.

- Project Carbon - helping you to reduce your carbon footprint in the UK
- Sustrans - developing sustainable transport in the UK, including the National Cycle Network
- Campaign Against Climate Change - an umbrella group for climate-related demonstrations in the UK
